COMET GAIN (London, UK)

- English below -

Vor ein paar Wochen erschien die erste Single "If not tomorrow / I was more of a mess then", das eine Stück gesungen von David, das andere von Rachel Evans.
File under: "kneif mich mal".

Cologne Popfest was born at the Lexington in London during Fortuna POP's final festival. We still thought about a fantastic and sad and solemn and wonderful concert of Comet Gain the night before. The gig was like Comet Gain's music - funny and sad. And brilliant.
The "cultishly loved UK indiepop group" (Brooklyn Vegan) found a new home in Tapete Records from Hamburg after FortunaPOP! called it a day. Tapete published a first 7" in October. "If not tomorrow / I was more of a mess then", one song sung by David Feck, the other one by Rachel Evans. Two more great Comet Gain songs in a collection of indie pop hymns. We can't wait for the new album but - more important - we can't wait to see Comet Gain on our Cologne Popfest stage! It's a Cologne indie girls and boys dream come true.
