The Simple Present sind Sabine und Cathrin aus Stuttgart, die 2025 ihre Debüt-EP auf dem geschmack- und stilsicheren Label Kleine Untergrund Schallplatten veröffentlichen werden. Uns erwartet auf Platte und auf unserer Popfest-Bühne wundervoller Janglepop!
Each year when we came back from Indietracks we brought home a couple of new favourite bands. Bands, we had never heard about before. Some of those bands didn't even have any recorded music to date. A couple of weeks ago we had such an Indietracks moment when we attended the very first concert of The Simple Present in Augsburg.
The Simple Present are Cathrin and Sabine, two English teachers from Stuttgart. The Simple Present's first EP will be released by Germany's finest indiepop label, Kleine Untergrund Schallplatten, home of bands like The BV's or Pale Lights. We are so happy to see The Simple Present on our Popfest stage!
